Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is often regarded as the foundational discipline of engineering due to its extensive applicability across various fields. As the broadest of all engineering disciplines, Mechanical Engineering encompasses the design, production, and maintenance of tools, machines, and mechanical systems utilized in diverse industries. This field offers a vast array of options that span numerous interdisciplinary specialties.
Mechanical engineers engage in all facets of machinery and mechanical systems, including the design, development, construction, production, installation, operation, and maintenance of components such as steam and gas turbines, thermal power station parts, internal combustion engines, jet engines, machine tools, air conditioning and heating systems, and refrigeration units. Their work is crucial in not only creating new products but also in developing materials and methods for their production.
Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering branches that combines Engineering Physics and Mathematics principles with material science to design, analyze, manufacture and maintain mechanical system .The mechanical engineering program encompasses specially for four distinct professional fields of study like as Product design,Manufacturing, Thermal Sciences and Engineering -Management science.
