Shri Ram College of Engineering & Management, Palwal inaugurated “North-East Research and Cultural Centre Sewa-Setu” in the college by lighting of the lamp in front of Maa Sarswati, goddess of knowledge and wisdom with Mr. Hanuman Narayan, Director, Sewa Setu and co-founder of the college CA Mr. Santosh Gupta. Sewa-Setu is a registered social organization, having the purpose to improve social and emotional attachment among the needy and economical poor residents of the North-East states as Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim and Mizoram etc. So many officials of Sewa-Setu as Mrs. Prabhawati Devi- chief Secretary, Mr. Pramod Kaushik- Secretary, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Gaur – Finance officer, Mr. Dev Dutt Sharma- Program Executive etc were present during the program. Trustees of the college Mr. Narender Gupta, Mr. M.C. Mittal and CA Mr. Santosh Gupta welcomed the guests and Director of the college thanked to them for choosing and starting our college for such a nice and informative steps towards remitting regional partiality of the country. This program was conducted by Dean of the college Dr. S.K. Garg. More than 50 students of the North-East who live in Delhi-NCR region were present during the program and have an oath to empower this organization. All the teaching, non-teaching staff and students were present at the occasion.

SRCEM won first prize in the project of “development of a go-cart based on alternative fuels” in FIA, Faridabad 2018.
